Ft. Wayne PASS Group Session

I will be speaking at the Ft. Wayne, In PASS Chapter on June 22nd,2010. This should be an interesting session on data warehousing where I will cook up some front to back demos for all the below. For those of you in the Ft. Wayne area that do not know about your local PASS chapter please check it out. IT’S FREE TRAINING PEOPLE! Developing Data Warehouses With SQL Server 2008 In this session you’ll learn from Arie Jones (AJ) the principles behind a successful data warehouse. He will walk you through a sample cube development example and cover topics like deployment, hierarchies, KPIs, business intelligence, MDX, and reporting. With plenty of demos and limited boring slide deck  action this is a must for those wanting to jump into the data warehousing arena.   Ft Wayne PASS Chapter web page http://fwpass.org/   Cheers,...

SQL Saturday 51: Nashville

I will be getting ready to post abstracts for SQL Saturday Nashville here in the next day or so. If you have anything cool or interesting that you would like to see then send me your ideas now and I will try to get them incorporated! Heck, I could speak all during the day if Kevin Kline and crew would let me…there is a lot of interesting stuff coming in SQL Server 2008 R2! Make sure that if you are in the area…AKA as close as Indianapolis at least, which is a 5 hour drive  LoL…that you sign up and support this event! Think of it as helping out the Nashville community after the horrendous flooding that they have gone through. I have my company sponsoring the event so help spread the word and let me know if you are going! http://www.sqlsaturday.com/51/eventhome.aspx Also check the tag in twitter #sqlsat51 ! Cheers!...
